Director of today
Apart from being the “director of today” at Diacé, I am also, with my husband Nick, a full-time proud parent of my fabulous children: Hailey and Cédric.
Cédric has had type 1 diabetes since he was 4 years old. As a mother, you only want the best for your child. However, that can be difficult when your child ends up in an uninteresting medical world. Boring devices therefore triggered our search for fun accessories.
To our surprise, there were not many tools on the market, so we just started developing our own products. Since June 2021, I have been working full-time at Diacé, a hugely exciting step, but I don’t regret it for a second.
By the way, do you know where the name Diacé comes from? Quite simply, diabetes and Cédric! For Cédric, it is of course great that he gets to be the first to test all the products.
My responsibilities
I take care of the day-to-day duties, accounting, website maintenance and new product development and so much more….
What do my colleagues say about me?
My colleagues see me as a natural leader, who combines empathy and sincerity to make everyone in the company feel at home. They also consider me a real “power woman”, who uses her organisational and creative skills to make everything run smoothly.
My favourite product
Difficult question, every product we sell, I stand behind it 100%! So if I have to make a choice, …. I choose the insulin pump bag! Such a fun product with different designs and easy to use!
